
Arthur Maurice "Ruffian" Ayler, 28, of South Salem, died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center. He was born Sept. 4, 1983 in Fayette County, the son of Rudolph and Evelyn (Mitchell) Ayler Jr.
He was a forklift operator at C-Mold in Greenfield, and in the summertime he assisted Baxter's Pool Installation and was a music artist through the Scribbling Idiots group, with the stage name of "Ruffian." He was a member of Masterline Youth Ministry.
He is survived by two daughters, Janessa Dawn Ayler and Jayla Dae Ayler, both of Washington C.H.; one son Jonas Michael Ayler of Dayton; mother and step-father, Evelyn and Robert Dement of Hillsboro; grandparents, Herbert and Medrith Mitchell of South Salem; stepgrandmother, Geraldene Dement of Hillsboro; one sister, Serenity "Starr" Mitchell of Wilmington; one brother Kasey Wright of Hillsboro; one stepsister, Shaye-lyn Dement of Hillsboro; one stepbrother, Robert Dement II of Hillsboro, two nieces, Mahogany Collins of Wilmington and Javree Coffman of Wilmington; one nephew Elijah Collins of Wilmington; several aunts and uncles; special friend, Chelsea Bates of Greenfield; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Ayler Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 21 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with pastor Bill Bowman of New Life Ministries officiating.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with expenses at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home, 380 Jefferson St., Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
