(Nashville, TN) July 24, 2012 - In:ciite media announces the upcoming release of Highlands Worship's debut CD, Place of Freedom, available in stores September 18, 2012 distributed by EMI CMG Distribution.
As the musical worship force behind the Church of the Highlands located in Birmingham, Ala., Highlands Worship is proving to be a fresh lyrical powerhouse in the worship community worshiping God with sincere expression. As one of the fastest growing congregations in the South, Church of the Highlands has a simple goal: help people connect with God in a church without letting structures and programs get in the way. It began in 2001 with 34 determined believers, and has grown to a congregation of over 15,000. The mission of Church of the Highlands and Highlands Worship is reinforced through this CD and its twelve songs: To reach people with the life-giving message of Jesus that they might become fully devoted followers of Christ.
