Their songs have pioneered a new generation of modern hymns. One such hymn is "In Christ Alone," penned by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend, a modern classic that has been recorded by numerous artists and is sung in churches around the globe. This renowned hymn has remained the most popular song for congregations throughout the UK for six years, among CCLI's top ten in North America, and has been honored by both the British Hymn Society and BBC Songs of Praise all time lists. Their hymns have also been recorded by artists throughout the world of music, from Irish musicians Moya Brenan and Anuna, contemporary Christian artists Natalie Grant, Newsboys, Tim Hughes and a recent online recording by multi-platinum artist Owl City.

The first project released through this agreement with EMI CMG Distribution will be this fall on October 9 titled Hymns For The Christian Life and produced by Charlie Peacock (Amy Grant, Switchfoot, The Civil Wars) and Ed Cash (Steven Curtis Chapman, Kari Jobe, Chris Tomlin). This collection of original, modern hymns showcases traditional Irish melodies as well as American bluegrass and country influences.

Under the Getty Music label, Keith & Kristyn Getty have recorded two Dove-nominated albums: In Christ Alone (2007) and Awaken the Dawn (2009) and Joy-An Irish Christmas (2011). They have shared their music at the United States Pentagon, the GMA Dove Awards, Franklin Graham crusades, for President George W. Bush, at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, and in the Royal Albert Hall in London. They have spoken at universities from Harvard to Wheaton and remain involved in conferences including the Lausanne Congress and The Gospel Coalition. Keith and Kristyn divide their time between Northern Ireland and their home in Nashville where they write, tour and oversee the work of Getty Music.
