
LOS ANGELES (September 24, 2012) Maranatha! Music/LifeWay Worship artist Shelly E. Johnson will be traveling to Buenos Aires, Argentina to lead worship at the Word of Life Conference September 24-29, 2012. The conference brings pastors and worship leaders together from all over the world to teach and encourage audiences.
Johnson, who is a worship leader at First Baptist Church Woodstock, one of the largest churches in Georgia, is premiering music from her new EP, Power Of The Cross, at select U.S. conferences and events. She recently performed at the Experience Conference in Orlando, Fla., The Cobb Pregnancy Banquet in support of a national ministry supporting pregnant women in crisis, and the GMA Immerse Conference in Nashville, Tenn. Upcoming appearances include: the National Worship Leader Conference in San Diego, Calif. in October, LifeWay Worship 424 Conference at Cedarville University in Ohio in January, and women's conference featuring Women of Faith speakers Sheila Walsh and Lisa Harper in Marietta, Ga. in February.
