NASHVILLE, TENN. -February 19, 2013 - EMI CMG Distribution is excited to announce an expanded relationship with CanZion Group, LP for the United States and Puerto Rico. Effective immediately CanZion will represent EMI CMG Distribution's complete new release schedule and catalog to the CBA stores serving the Latino community in the U.S. and Puerto Rico including all English titles.

Greg Bays, Senior Vice President of sales and marketing for EMI CMG Distribution said: "We are thrilled to be expanding our relationship with CanZion into the CBA stores that serve the Latino community with our entire release schedule and catalog. Previously CanZion primarily focused on our Spanish product so this will be a great opportunity for all of our titles. We are looking forward to working together to serve the Latino CBA stores."

Luis Quinelli, the CEO of CanZion Group, LP also commented: "We are very pleased to be part of an expanded relationship with EMI CMG Distribution. Together, we will be working to transform the way that we serve the Latino Christian community in the United States and Puerto Rico. In our expanded role we have strategically designed a way to service the entire EMI CMG Distribution catalog to the stores in these markets through CanZion Group, LP. This new development is a wonderful opportunity to continue to bless the growing Latino Christian community.

As part of their expanded role, CanZion will offer a range of new marketing and sales services exclusively to their Latino customers. Some of these expanded services will include increased focus on the top English-language as well as Spanish-language product both new release and core inventory titles.

Also a wide range of CD and DVD products will be made available and prominently highlighted as a newly developed feature on CanZion Group's official website. CanZion will regularly update a list of Best-selling Core Inventory titles for the benefit of their Latino CBA accounts and will provide additional resources including in-store DVD loops as well as other marketing and sales materials.

In 1987, Marcos Witt founded CanZion with the vision to edify the Body of Christ through the production and distribution of Spanish Christian Music in Mexico, and subsequently other countries. EMI CMG Distribution was founded in 1994 to serve as the main distribution outlet for EMI CMG's owned and distributed labels to the US Christian and general retail marketplace, and the international Christian marketplace. Since this distribution division was launched, EMI CMG has had more charting titles annually on Billboard'sTop Christian charts than any other Christian distributor and has been namedBillboard Magazine's Top Christian Music Distributor 15 times since 1995.
