February 21, 2013 - New York, NY - On February 26th, Capitol Records will release the 2013 Grammy nominated album Gold from Britt Nicole, a Nashville-based artist who marks the label's latest pop singer/songwriter signing. The newly repackaged Gold which was released on Sparrow Records in March 2012 and debuted at number 41 on the Top 100 Billboard Chart signals Britt's emergence as a pop phenom of uncommon substance and soul.
The first time Grammy nominee spent her inaugural Grammys presenting awards in the pre-telecast followed by her first walk on the red carpet where she was highlighted for her "au-courant" red peplum dress right between Rihanna and Adele.

Gold marks the follow-up to Britt's sophomore effort The Lost Get Found (a 2009 release that also debuted on the Top 100 Billboard Chart), Gold now features new mixes of its title track (a potent yet joyful self-empowerment anthem) and "All This Time" (a sweeping, slow-building epic about recovering from her parents' divorce).
Offering both tender ballads and beat-soaked dance-pop songs, Gold showcases the passionately thoughtful lyrics that attest Britt's strength as a songwriter. Its slick and shimmering title track and lead single which currently sits at number 29 on the Top 40 radio charts, strives to help kids overcome feelings of lonely self-doubt and find their way to courage and confidence.
"The message of 'Gold' is to remind those kids that are struggling that no matter what they have been told they are worth so much more than the words of another," explains Britt. "Once you know that, no one can ever steal your shine."
