The JUNO nod marks Newworldson's fourth nomination in this category, having previously been acknowledged for Roots Revolution (2008), Salvation Station (2009), and Newworldson (2011). The JUNO Awards is Canada's premiere awards show, which encompasses a week-long celebration of Canadian music, culminating in The JUNO Awards Broadcast where Canadian artists are recognized for excellence of achievement in recorded music.
