NASHVILLE, TN - March 25, 2014 - The Ember Days just announced they are now taking pre-orders for the April 29th release of the The Ember Days Live. The five-track EP, recorded at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, California, showcases the band's melodic sound while capturing the passion of a live worshipping crowd. It is The Ember Days at their best.
Featuring guest writer appearances from Ed Cash and Zach Farrow, each song beckons listeners to a place of awe and inspiration. It's completely honest and vulnerable, recorded in one take and never touched up. "To me, there is just something special about that," says lead guitar/vocalist Jason Belcher. "The songs are functioning just as they were meant to be. We played songs and in return, heard thousands of people connecting with their Savior. That is such an honor and privilege."
When the songs and videos of their live performance arrived in Jedidiah's (bass) inbox, he immediately called the band to his house to listen to them. "We all just crowded around the speakers, tears streaming down our faces. We were being ministered to by the Lord," Jason shares. It was in that moment that they knew they needed to release the EP.
In addition to the EP, The Ember Days will post videos for all five tracks on their YouTube page. The first, for "Awake," is already viewable HERE.
Track Listing:
1. Awake
2. Run to You
3. Face in the Dark
4. Prodigal
5. More Than You Think
