Ayiesha Woods Returns To Music With Kickstarter Campaign for New Album, "It's Time"

Former Gotee Records pop/rock/soul artist Ayiesha Woods has been laying low since her 2009 Christmas release, but after getting married and starting a family for the past few years, Ayiesha is getting ready to release a brand new studio album, It's Time, but she needs your help! Now fully independent, she doesn't have the label support needed to make the album come together completely, but with fans' help, she hopes to release it to the world by June. It's perfectly fitting in every sense of the title and acronym. I know that I've been away for some time, now. My last full length project being "Christmas Like This" released in 2009 (a project of which I am most proud).

Many of you have been loyal and devoted supporters and for that I'm so appreciative! You've done what you can to stay connected; found and followed me on every social media site that I've joined. I feel as though many of you have become like family, the way that you're such a part of our lives and journey. And it has indeed been a journey! So much has transpired in these past few years of my life. Lots of good, some not so great. But such is life, right? I'm just thankful to have Christ Jesus as Savior and King! He makes it ALL worth it!

Speaking of worth it, about the record "It's Time." This project will be very eclectic. We have really gotten back to the things that made Ayiesha Woods unique. A little rock, pop, a little reggae, some praise & worship; good ol' soul. We even dove into COUNTRY this time!! I guess it's what living in Texas will do for ya! :-) I'm really excited about it!

Help me to get this project finished out! We're ALMOST there, friends! Your pledges will allow us to have this record completed, mixed, mastered, manufactured and packaged (artwork/ design). It will also fund our marketing and promotion budget and we will be recording a music video! I won't be riding a bike on this one, though! Lol
