Former Gotee Records solo artist Jeff Anderson has been busy in recent years producing his own solo worship albums, the latest being 2012's In The Shadow, but few know that Anderson had launched a unique post-rock instrumental project called Anderson Cale in 2008. Jeff partnered with friend and fellow musician Jesse Cale Burkett to form Anderson Cale and the two have been prepping to release a new album called Flight for 2014. To make the project a reality, the duo have launched a Kickstarter campaign for a humble $5,000 to finish the album.
About the project, Anderson Cale writes: We want to approach you with the utmost gratitude for taking your time to preview our kickstarter campaign. The album "Flight" is something that we have never felt a greater passion for in our creative lives. Please take the time to watch our video that tells you a bit about who we are, where we come from, and where we want to go. Also, below we have a brief history of our band and the album "Flight."
On the Kickstarter campaign page, the pair break down what the funds will be used for and share some examples of their music, including the song "Where the Saints Will Go" from their 2009 self-titled debut album. Check out the song below on YouTube.
