Hip hop artist Heath McNease always has something in the works. His most recent project has been a film with a soundtrack he's put together himself. The early glimpses at the soundtrack have been pensive, acoustic, folk type tracks, with the latest being one called "Walter." The film, titled Fort Wayne will release, alongside its soundtrack to Noisetrade on Saturday, September 27.
About the project, Heath announced: "Saturday is one of the biggest days of my career. "Fort Wayne" the film and soundtrack premieres on Noisetrade. The film will be available through Noisetrade linking to my YouTube account. I wanted to thank everyone for donating to help make this happen. So I wrote and recorded 5 brand new, bonus acoustic songs for the soundtrack. Here's the first of those 5. Its called "Walter," and I hope you will check the description of the song. Share it, download it, and tell the world about Saturday. This is really happening!"

About the song, McNease writes, "This is an an acoustic track from the Fort Wayne soundtrack. Its a song based on both the short story and the movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty." Walter is a man who is constantly dreaming about living some alternate reality, because he is so unsatisfied with his own. There is a section in the movie where the David Bowie song, "Major Tom" is used to speak about Walter's rambling mind. I essentially wanted to put each of us in that position. We all drift off. We all want to be something or someone else from time to time. But hopefully something or someone brings you back down to the real world and reminds you that its better to let it all happen right here and right now."
