Nashville, TN (November 17, 2014) ----- Singer/songwriter, Scott MacIntyre, recently performed songs from his new album Lighthouse for an enthusiastic crowd of 8,000 in New York City's Foley Square. MacIntyre's concert kicked off the National Kidney Foundation's 2014 New York City Walk that raised awareness and funds for life-saving programs to fight kidney disease. The American Idol finalist has become a national spokesperson for organ donation and has performed at other National Kidney Foundation walks this year in Los Angeles, CA, San Francisco, CA, Chicago, IL and Boston, MA with the Miami, FL walk scheduled for March 2015.
Since releasing Lighthouse in September, the project has drawn praise from many critics with Soul-Audio.com saying, "MacIntyre has a great voice and is a solid songwriter to boot," while Christian Review calls it a "standout release."
