"'Pieces' is one of my favorite songs on the album because it really captures the tension between the lyrics and the vibe of the music," says vocalist/guitarist Brooks Paschal. "It's a really sugary sounding song, but the lyrics have a darkness to them that take you somewhere else altogether."
Watch Paschal's acoustic rendition of "Pieces" at http://youtu.be/Rgc6wYIxV-U.
Sullivan's refined ability to find a unique balance between that accessible sound and brooding alternative rock is what separates the band from the pack. Following a seven-year hiatus, the band returns this month with an outstanding record that features 11 anthemic tracks like "What's Good For The King," "You Don't Mean It" and the newly released track "Pieces."
