Classical technique, musical improvisation, and professional stage presence are just a few of the abilities that the FASA develops in its students. Lead singer and violinist Annie Wolaver Dupre of the Annie Moses Band remarks, "Classical training provides a palette of colors and techniques that give music dimension. Since it was first founded by the Annie Moses Band in 2003 the Academy has impacted the lives of over 1,500 students and provided over $100,000 in scholarships to disadvantaged students. Members of the Annie Moses Band also participate each year as professional mentors, and have founded The Annie Moses Foundation to support FASA. "We started the Academy because we saw a deep need for a place where young people could experience the thrill of artistic excellence first-hand," writes Dupre. "At FASA, we get to rub shoulders with talented young musicians and invest in the next generation. Excellence in the arts is our heartbeat."

Comprised of six siblings, the Annie Moses Band is a talented ensemble of songwriters, singers, and musicians, combining classically-trained technical skill with exhilarating showmanship. The Nashville-based ensemble has steadily built an international audience and accepted invitations to perform at Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry House and PBS. Following 11 albums, five DVDs and five TV specials, they plan to release a new record this fall. In addition to mentoring with the FASA, the AMB has an extensive set of performances scheduled for Summer 2015 and beyond, listed below.
