This week, indie artist Heath McNease released a new project called Pen Pals - a collaboration with Jetty Rae -- to Noisetrade as an EP called "Gold" and it is already number one on the popular music distribution website.
McNease writes, "I wouldn't have expected anything less from my amazing friends, family, fans, and supporters! You guys with your unwaivering support helped take "Gold" to #1 on Noisetrade in less than 12 hours! I can't thank you enough! From the bottom of my heart...and my buddy Jetty's...thank you so much for showing us so much love. The feedback has been amazing. People have been over the moon with this little project we crafted. And as summer draws near its end...people are finding it especially poignant. We would love to keep this as visible as we can for as long as we can...so if you haven't downloaded it yet...please get it for free right now from Noisetrade by clicking this link... http://noisetrade.com/heathmcnease/gold
The name of the game now is SHARING! If you've gotten the EP...please share it with your world. Not just a tweet or a share on facebook...but a meaningful text to someone you think might find this project timely or moving. Maybe a phone call or an email to a friend or group of friends. Take it on your next road trip so you can all shout it at the top of your lungs. Just...please keep sharing. Sharing on social media AND in your own private circles...that's the only way little projects like these will ever have a life past the first few days of exposure. Because Noisetrade will just post the next, shiny new project waiting to be heart. So helpe us grow this beautiful little project!
I'm still going to be having "Google Hangout" conversations all day and night with people who download and share the project. All you have to do is download, share with all your friends (social media, text, email) and just post the hashtag #PenPalsGold somewhere on instagram, facebook, or twitter so that we can see it...and I will reach out to you!
Finally...we made a video for the opening track, "Camp"! Its on the download page at Noisetrade, but you can check it here!
I love you guys so much. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me and my amazing pen pal, Jetty! Please share this with everyone. Not just through media but through word of mouth, text, and email! We hope you love GOLD!"
