New York, NY (January 5, 2016) -RCA Inspiration celebrates an outstanding year in music at the 31st Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards with 18 nominations in 12 categories. With nine projects, multiple nominations are blanketed under Male Vocalist of the Year, Contemporary Male Vocalist of the Year, Praise and Worship CD of the Year and more. The artists that have garnered these nominations are carving their own path in the music industry all the way from gospel to hip hop, with nominations for: Kirk Franklin (Fo Yo Soul Recordings/ RCA) Travis Greene, Fred Hammond, Israel Houghton & NewBreed (RGM/NewBreed/RCA Inspiration), Jason Nelson, Richard Smallwood with Vision, Geoffrey Golden (Fo Yo Soul Recordings/ RCA), Dee-1 and the hit WOW Gospel series.
