"Without a doubt, this is the most ambitious record I've ever done," explains Bryce Avary of THE ROCKET SUMMER to Entertainment Weekly, who premieres the full album stream to his highly-anticipated and universally-acclaimed sixth studio album Zoetic. "There wasn't much thought of, 'Is this a Rocket Summer album?' when I was making it. I pushed myself to do something I never would have done in the past."

Released today, February 26, 2016 via Aviate Records, Zoetic features 11 high-energy tracks, all entirely recorded and produced by Avary himself in his home made studio in Los Angeles, CA. Receiving 4.5 out of 5 in Alternative Press, they hailed "The Rocket Summer's first full-length album in nearly four years proves true to its namesake by roaring to life with unyielding passion authenticity and a whole lot of guitars… Avary's intent is to rock and rock hard." Diffuser proclaimed that the album, "simultaneously evokes the likes of Foster the People and Justin Timberlake" while Infectious Magazine says Zoetic "displays exactly what pop rock music would sound like if it were zapped with 100,000 volts and l ived to tell the tale."
ZOETIC TRACKLISTING: 1. Cold War 2. Same Air (video) 3. UNI 4. Help Me Out 5. Get Over It 6. White Fireworks 7. You Are, You Are 8. FL, CA 9. Rule of Thirds Kind of Life 10. Sharks 11. Emergency Landings
The album as a whole carries themes of tension in a variety of forms: heart and mind, body and soul, and the past and present. The man once known for his pop ballads has now become fully immersed in a whole new world of sound, best depicted through track one of the album "Cold War" which Substream likened "as if Trent Reznor, Mutemath and Paper Route formed a supergroup in secret." In "UNI", the first song Avary wrote for the record, Fuse calls it "chaotic and heavy, the kind of tune that could carry an emotive movie scene." When The Rocket Summer isn't boosting the distortion on his guitar on the album or giving Steven Tyler-style vocal runs, he trades off for a soft falsetto and synth piano in tracks like "You Are, You Are." ; Even with the change, fans can still find the band's signature catchy hooks in tracks like "FL, CA" and "Help Me Out."
In support of the new album, The Rocket Summer will be kicking off their headlining tour in Houston, TX on March 11th and circling around the US. The band will be hitting over 30 markets including Nashville's Exit/in on March 18th, New York City's Marlin Room @ Webster Hall on March 26th, Los Angeles' Troubadour on April 12th and San Francisco's Bottom of the Hill on May 19th (full tour dates below). Supporting the tour on the first half of the tour will be FARRO, the new project by ex-Paramore guitarist Josh Farro.
