Former Populis member Carter Frodge announced a new musical venture today, titled Novaly. The duo consists of Frodge and Chris Schultz as an alternative rock act out of Columbus, Ohio.
Frodge announced the band on Facebook today while opening up about his journey in the past year, "A year ago this fall I decided to leave the band I toured with for over two years. The past year of my life has been filled with heartache, surprises, disappointments, and even having to pick up a job as a janitor. I knew without a shadow of a doubt, that God was calling me away from the people I had chosen to surround myself with. That there was something bigger and more impactful coming. So like we all do at some point in life, I jumped."
Frodge continued, "I have learned that fear is a handle we put on ourselves. Sometimes the things we are most scared to do, are the things that we are not only supposed to do, but will bring the most beautiful outcome. Because that was shown to me over the past year, I could never be more thankful. I am so excited for this next adventure of my life, and am overjoyed to announce my new band with Chris Schultz, Novaly. I have never been more excited for the art that is to come, and the many things that will be announced soon with us and our friend Dave Bever. Let us bring hope to the hopeless, and inspired those in an uninspired world. Come join the family."
