Nashville, TN – After a massively successful Kickstarter campaign, DISCIPLE is releasing its13th studio album – LONG LIVE THE REBELS – today, October 14.  In a partnership with Tooth & Nail / BEC Recordings, LONG LIVE THE REBELS is already being lauded as the band’s strongest album to date.

Early reviews are all in agreement:

"Designed to be cranked to 11 and passionately sung along to, Long Live The Rebels is jam-packed with searing guitar licks, thought provoking lyrics and almost too much energy for your stereo to handle." – JesusWired

“Long Live The Rebels combines raging, riffing, and roaring fight anthems with sincere, soaring, and stimulating rock ballads, majestically surpassing all expectations from both Disciple fans and new listeners alike.” – The Christian Beat

“…one of the strongest rock albums to come out in 2016.” – Jesus Freak Hideout

“Their masterful use of an array of guitar sounds, subtle touches of electronic elements, unchecked vocal passion and raw, redemption-rooted lyrics prove that Disciple is still one of the best in the hard rock business.  Their songs continue to voice vital battle cries for their fellow spiritual rebels.” – New Release Today

Beloved for its intense music and passionate, faith-filled lyrics, this two-time Dove Award winning band has been a staple in the Christian hard rock scene. Two years ago, the band charted a new course with the lineup of Kevin Young (vocals/bass), Andrew Stanton (lead guitar), Josiah Prince (rhythm guitar) and Joey West (drums) and a desire to step away from the label system and launch as independent artists. Their dedicated fan base was in full support, committing nearly $130,000 to back LONG LIVE THE REBELS via a Kickstarter campaign, more than 200% of the initial goal.

“Disciple has always been committed to making music that impacts people's lives,” explains Kevin. “This may be our 13th album, but that commitment has never been stronger than on LONG LIVE THE REBELS.  We want to be the rebels who will change the world, and we hope that our music inspires others to step out and live their calling, no matter what the circumstance.”
