In addition, Bauer's latest critically-acclaimed recording, The Light In Us, is nominated for Praise & Worship Album of the Year, while the project's "Say Something" is nominated for Song of the Year and Pop Song of the Year. "Starts With Us" earned a nod for Recorded Song of the Year, and "Where The Sidewalk Ends," co-penned with Rusty Varenkamp, is nominated for Inspirational Song of the Year. Both tracks are also featured on The Light In Us, which bowed earlier this year.

Bauer is slated to perform at The 38th Annual Covenant Awards. Presented by GMA Canada and The World Vision Artist Collective, the event will be held January 26 in Edmonton, Canada.

Bauer's seventh studio release, The Light In Us was produced by GRAMMY-nominated, Dove Award-winner Rusty Varenkamp (Building 429, Meredith Andrews) and mixed by GRAMMY and Dove Award-winner Ainslie Grosser (Rend Collective, Casting Crowns). Chronicling a season of healing and restoration, the project features 10 selections all co-penned by Bauer, including his current single, "Your Love Is Beautiful." The song is now being serviced to radio formats in the United States by Kyle Fenton Promotions and via Ten16Entertainment.com in Canada.
