Buffalo, NY – The past week thousands of Christian music fans attended Kingdom Bound – NY state’s largest Christian music festival. Featuring over 50 artists and located at Darien Lake Amusement and Water Park, the event offered something for everyone, but one moment stood out among the rest. On Saturday Night Peter Furler joined his former Newsboys bandmates as a guest vocalist for a live performance of the song “The Cross Has The Final Word”. In an Instagram post following the event, Newsboys’ drummer Duncan Phillips said, “Thanks again Kingdom Bound and Darien Lake for a show we'll remember for a while! The weather was perfect with an amazingly engaged crowd! I hope we play #kingdombound for years to come! Much love."
During the festival, Kingdom Bound announced that GRAMMY-Winners for King & Country and Casting Crowns have been confirmed for Kingdom Bound 2018 (July 29-August 1, 2018).
