In an message to the band's email list we received today, classic Christian rock band Whiteheart dismisses rumors about a potential band reunion and new Whiteheart album.
The email was the following:
A couple of news items have been popping up on our radar. We would like to address them both…
First, we have been getting a lot of questions about recent posts on Facebook that seem to suggest that a Whiteheart Reunion and a forthcoming Whiteheart album are imminent.
This is not the case and there are no plans for either in the works.
However, there is a band out there, The Union Of Sinners And Saints, led by Billy Smiley, that includes a couple of former Whiteheart members, Jon Knox and Anthony Sallee, as well as Petra lead singer, John Schlitt. You can visit their page on Facebook. We hope you enjoy their music and have a chance to attend one of their concerts in a city near you.Which leads us to news item #2 - a new potential collaboration . . .
Just a few weeks ago, Gersh, Rick and Gordon sat down with their wives and some close friends for a spectacular meal in Rick’s back yard. As we often do when we get together, we were recounting stories from our Whiteheart past. Every time we do this we end up in the same place-thankful beyond words that we have shared such a wonderful history in music and ministry.
But that night a new question arose. What if we could share the future? We started thinking-maybe we will sing together for a Sunday service. Or pull in a couple of former Whiteheart bandmates and play a concert here or there. Maybe we will even write and record a song or two for a cause we believe in and put it out there on the web.
What does that sound like to you?
If any of these ideas interest you,

to visit us at our new Facebook page “Gersh, Rick and Gordon from Whiteheart” and let us know. We would love to hear from you! This new FB page is now the only way to contact us (other than our personal pages), so please post your thoughts there and share the news with your friends to help get the word out! More than ever, we want to stay in touch.
Because, after all these years, that is what we treasure most of all. You can’t possibly know how much you mean to us. We are so honored when you share the stories of your lives and so grateful for your kindness, encouragement, and laughter.
We do not want this conversation to end. God joined us together for a journey. And whether or not we play or sing another note, we know He is taking us somewhere! Meanwhile, we look forward to hearing from you!
All His Peace to all of you…
Gersh, Rick and Gordon
