Christmas Vol 2 also features Planetshakers worship leader Joth Hunt leading his declarative new song, “Light Of The World,” which is going for adds now at AC and CHR radio.

“Christmas is all about Jesus. He is the reason we celebrate. It’s a time of joy,” says Hunt, who is also credited with producing and arranging the four-song EP. “But unfortunately for some, it can be a time of darkness. This song encourages everybody to remember that Jesus is the Light of the world (John 8:12). He brings hope to all!”

The new EP follows last year’s Christmas Vol 1 from Planetshakers, which features the original song “It's Christmas” and the joyful, pop and R&B-infused “Hark,” “Joy To The World” and “Silent Night.”

Planetshakers also released its Heaven On Earth album and Heaven On Earth Part Three EP last month amidst acclaim. The “Heaven On Earth” title track, which was produced by Bryan Fowler (TobyMac, Chris Tomlin) and Micah Kuiper, is further garnering airplay at radio, becoming Billboard’s No. 1 most added song on the USA Hot AC / CHR radio charts for two consecutive weeks.

A tangible, intentional expression of worshippers collectively pursuing the presence of God, Heaven On Earth was recorded during Planetshakers Kingdom Conference held in Melbourne, Australia this past April at Hisense Arena and at its regional conferences attended by tens-of-thousands in Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.
