Nashville, Tenn. (Nov. 30, 2018) – Tune in this Sunday to watch four-time GRAMMY® nominee Matthew West perform at the 96th annual National Christmas Tree Lighting, airing Sunday, Dec. 2 at 10 p.m. EST on Ovation and REELZ, thanks to a partnership with the National Park Foundation, the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service. At this year's National Christmas Tree Lighting, West collaborated with country music duo LOCASH, and also performed his beloved, upbeat Christmas original, "Come On Christmas." The broadcast will offer a wonderful opportunity for friends and families across the country to tune in and rejoice in this holiday tradition together. In addition to West, 2018 performers include Abby Anderson, Anthony Kearns, Dominican Sisters of Mary a.k.a. “Caroling Angels,” Gabby Barrett, LOCASH, Paul Cardall, Spensha Baker, Thompson Square, and the United States Army Band "Pershing's Own." Featuring exciting and fun renditions of favorite holiday tunes from the 1920s through today, the broadcast will also include special guests and the official lighting of the National Christmas Tree on the Ellipse in President’s Park (White House).
