Deborah Joy Winans unveils new single,
“When I Rose,” from the soundtrack of OWN and Lionsgate’s television series “Greenleaf,” available for streaming and download now on all digital platforms.
Winans will perform the classic version of the enduring choir tune in Season 4 of “Greenleaf,” while her new mid-tempo remix out today will showcase her contemporary vocals while keeping the same joyful spirit of gratitude. "It was so much fun remaking a classic gospel song with a modern twist,” said Winans. “It really speaks to who I am and I hope that it makes people feel good.”
Deborah Joy Winans stars as Charity Greenleaf on the hit show “Greenleaf.” “Greenleaf” takes viewers into the unscrupulous world of the Greenleaf family and their sprawling Memphis megachurch, where scandalous secrets and lies are as numerous as the faithful.
