Most music fans probably know Aaron Sprinkle best for his solo music or acclaimed work as a producer for acts like Anberlin and Acceptance, but what many might now know, is that Sprinkle used to be an integral part of the 90's alternative rock band, Poor Old Lu.

The band recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund a remastered re-release of their sophomore album, SIN, which would also get a special vinyl release. They've thankfully hit their goal, but now they have announced a stretch goal in the final week of the campaign to offer more goodies and exclusives.

Sprinkle wrote, "So, my band's 1994 album is getting a remaster and vinyl re-release. But if we hit our stretch goal, all vinyl will be upgraded to double vinyl + bonus tracks! It's gonna be dope. Please help spread the word!"

On the campaign page, details of the project read:

"Any band will tell you that the sophomore album release is likely the most important for establishing musical direction. Whereas their first album was polished, melodic, and bright, it didn't necessarily represent how the band had already evolved musically, which was important to showcase. To that end, Poor Old Lu opted to be more directly involved with their next album -- including choosing a local engineer/producer (John Goodmanson), sharing production duties, and opting for fewer overdubs so that the sonic qualities of the album would be nearer to what was heard in concert. The resulting sound would define them for years to come -- raw, energetic, dark, and unique. Even the album name and subsequent artwork became iconic and important -- challenging some listeners to step outside their comfort zone. Recorded during the heyday of grunge-era classics, 'Sin' spoke to the current generation without coming across as derivative. Now, 25 years later, the music and lyrics feel as pertinent as ever. Join us, as we reissue "Sin" on deluxe download, CD, and vinyl, remastered from the original master tapes. Let's make this happen...

STRETCH GOAL!  We hit the $15,000 goal in roughly 48 hours. Amazing, and thank you! So let's try for a stretch goal: If we hit $22,000 by the close of the campaign, everyone who has pledged for a level that includes vinyl will automatically have their vinyl pledge upgraded from a single LP to a double LP  in a gatefold jacket with the second LP consisting of bonus material from the "Sin" era. Let's make that happen!"

To answer fans' questions about what exactly the campaign is offering, the band wrote:

"What formats are being offered in the Kickstarter? ~ We are offering Deluxe CDs, and limited edition 180g Vinyl + downloads in this campaign. ***Please note, if you are pledging for vinyl, we ship via USPS Media Mail using the Bags Unlimited heavy duty "Mighty Mailer". 99% of shipments arrive without issue. That said, unless your record arrives broken, torn, or in some way unplayable, we (Lo-Fidelity Records & Poor Old Lu) cannot exchange or accept returns for vinyl damaged by the USPS during shipping. If you would like to add shipping insurance to any domestic order, please add $5 to your pledge total, and let us know you would like insurance added by sending us a private message so we can note your pledge. Thank you.***

Will there be bonus tracks on the deluxe CD & download? ~ Yes! The band is planning to include bonus material from the "Sin" era on both the CD and all downloads.  Bonus tracks currently being considered as follows:

Complain (demo) / Hope For Always (demo) / Slow (demo) / My World Falls Down (demo) / I Am No Good (demo) / Thoughtless (demo) / Bliss Is (demo) / Where Were All Of You (demo) / I Am No Good (Live @ The Paradox 2002) / Ring True (Live @ The Paradox 2002) / Bliss Is (Live @ The Paradox 2002) / Sickly (Live @ The Paradox 2002) / My World Falls Down (Live @ The Paradox) / Where Were All Of You (Remix, previously on Chrono) / Bliss Is Mellow (Previously on Chrono) / Army Guy (1995 Vinyl only bonus track)"
