Toledo, OH & Chicago, IL - In 2019 we went “Above the Clouds” in order to find “The Way”. Now in 2020, the duo of producer Tae Lamar and emcee iNTELLECT bring back classic hip hop roots on the groups debut project ‘The Righteous’. The duo is a throwback to historic groups of the genre but don’t be misunderstood, Above The Clouds is set to blaze a new trail through Christian Hip Hop. The 9-song release, available on digital platforms beginning February 28, proves that this is more than a young man’s game. As iNTELLECT explains, “This album is a mix of hip hop nostalgia and gospel truth. Inspired by the great hip hop duos of the past, this project is a cohesive album with hard-hitting beats and lyrics.” For those clamoring for Christ to be at the center of CHH, look no further than ‘The Righteous’. Lamar is one of the premier beat-makers in the space while iNTELLECT has honed his lyrical delivery as a wordsmith in every sense during the past few years. Together, they have created an album that points the listener directly towards the source of all righteousness. “The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry” Psalms 34:15 Listen to ‘The Righteous’ by Above The Clouds here.
