Group Celebrates Release Day With Events Around Hometown Of Minneapolis/St. Paul

8 May 2020 - Seattle, WA/Nashville, TN - Today is the day! Altars, the new album from BEC Recordings' worship group River Valley Worship, is available now at all streaming platforms (click here). 
 
To celebrate the release of Altars, the group is participating in various events online and from around their home city of Minneapolis/St. Paul. They kicked off the celebration last night with a special listening party event held exclusively on YouTube, while throughout today members of the group will be live on their Instagram page with special announcements every hour. They are also doing an Instagram Takeover for Multi-Tracks, all  leading up to a live virtual record release party tonight kicking off at 8pm CT on both their Instagram and Facebook pages. Be sure to tune in!
 
Altars was  produced by Mike Fatkin (Hillsong Y&F). The 13-song collection, which features power anthems such as "Both Sides and "Real Thing,"  is  their fourth album as a group, their second with BEC Recordings. Altars is the follow-up to 2018's Million Lifetimes  and included the Christian Billboard Top 25 anthem "Hope Has A Name," which was also part of BEC Recording's 2019 compilation Convoy of Hope: Hope Has A Name.
 
It was i n 2011 that River Valley Worship began releasing a mix of uplifting studio and live albums exemplifying the unified worship culture within their weekend services.  Led by singer, songwriter, and worship pastor Ryan Williams and joined by six additional members, t he music of River Valley Worship is artful and hope-filled while seeking to pioneer new sonic landscapes for the church on the local and global levels. They are b ased out of River Valley Church, an inspirational and vibrant church making a global impact w ith more than 10,000 weekly attendees at campuses spread across the greater Minneapolis, MN area as well as an international campus in Eswatini, Africa.
