Jung Youth & NAWAS)." Highlighting his elaborately detailed, yet undeniably epic take on pop, the darkly-charged track reflects on refusing to live inauthentically for the sake of preserving a failing relationship—a moody tension brilliantly magnified by the merging of its chilling piano tones, high-drama strings, and massively heavy beats. American Songwriter praised the track as a “booming debut effort,” complemented by a “larger-than-life production style with driving rap verses and smooth harmonies.” The equally mesmerizing music video, inspired by Black Mirror, follows the main character as he finds himself plugged into a virtual reality stimulation.
