A graduate of Furman University the Rock Hill, South Carolina native is endorsed by Kawai, the world’s second largest piano distributor and has millions of views on YouTube via the viral success of his online series The Kawai Kronicles. Additionally, the song, which Currence wrote solo cracks Top 10 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart, #2 on Billboard's Gospel Songwriters chart, and #3 on Billboard's Gospel Producers chart. "I Belong Here" is his second Gospel Airplay Top 20 entry. His single "Testimony" reached No. 18 in February 2018.
