Bowling Green, KY (March 5, 2021) - - CLINE announces the release of their second single, "Refuge," written by Jacqueyln Cline, Garrett Cline, Darrick Cline and Curt Gibbs (who also produced it). CLINE will be releasing four additional singles after "Refuge" and has something special planned for later in 2021!

CLINE is a band representing the intersection of faith, family and music — Garrett and Darrick Cline are brothers, and Jacquelyn is married to Garrett. The Cline brothers have spent seven years touring and recording with country artist, Dylan Scott (of CURB/Word), earning multiple platinum and gold RIAA certifications.

During that time, the Clines continued their pursuit of writing songs for the body of Christ, and now they are ready to share that journey with the masses. The Clines decided to begin a worship project on their own for the local church, rooted in the local church. This desire to write songs for the Church turned into working with Platinum/Gold record earning producer, Curt Gibbs.

Darrick Cline said, "‘Refuge’ is one of the first songs we wrote at the beginning of the pandemic. It’s a special song to us, given everything that we, as a family, were going through at that time. During both times of hardship and times of joy, God is our refuge and this song serves as a perfect reminder of that."

"Refuge" is a song written from a place of honest vulnerability with God, recognizing that none of us can be our own salvation. CLINE’s hope is anyone could hear this song and recognize that God truly desires to be our safe place and our refuge.

Jacquelyn says the reason she loves the line of the song that goes, "A broken melody I bring to the throne of God" is because, "Even our best songs and abilities aren’t good enough to bring to the throne, but because of Jesus we can bring Him our brokenness and our broken melodies...it’s enough. All He wants is us. As we are. We can always find our refuge in Christ."

CLINE strives to provide the soundtrack for life as we all journey on this side of eternity.

Additional information can be found on CLINE’s Website. You can stream or download their single on all major music platforms here.
