ATLANTA, Ga. – After a long three year wait, platinum-selling artist and award-winning songwriter Dante Bowe has released his sophomore album circles. The 13-song collection contains some of Dante’s most personal work to date, exploring themes of gratitude, forgiveness, perseverance, and understanding. From the foot-stomping soul of lead single “joyful” to the R&B influenced “real kind of love” circles embodies everything that makes Dante who he is while setting out to inspire others. circles is now available HERE
“These are all literal stories about my various family members,” Dante shares. “It gives insight into who we are and what we’ve been through. I hope that by sharing myself within these songs –it can help people to understand that there’s somebody out there who’s going through the same things. We all have our moments of struggle and our moments of success. But family is what brings it together. I’m able to stand here today on their shoulders, and I am grateful for their experiences, which have made me a better man.”
On circles, Dante reflects on time spent learning and appreciating his own roots, honoring the people and experiences that have formed him. Throughout the album, Dante effortlessly weaves what he learned about his family’s determination and resolve with his own turbulent experiences in life, creating a musical and lyrical fabric of self-discovery, renewal, and just plain old groove. About Dante
Dante Bowe is a platinum-selling songwriter and recording artist from Atlanta, GA. His independent debut Son of a Father (2017), rose to No. 21 on the Billboard Charts establishing a sound that was uniquely Dante - an infectious mix of soul, gospel, and R&B. In 2018, after spending time on the road as a backing vocalist, Dante left the security of steady employment to take center stage. His star was on the rise. He was a co-writer on the platinum-selling track “In Spite of Me [feat. Ciara]” for Tasha Cobbs Leonard, and Maverick City Music’s biggest hit to date, “Promises”. With his familial roots in his heart, and an optimistic future in his sights, Dante is set to release his sophomore album and label debut Circles on March 26th.
