NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 21, 2021) - Eight-time GRAMMY® nominee Tauren Wells surprised a couple in Arizona by being part of their engagement at a Cracker Barrel, helping the music-loving groom propose to his bride with one of their favorite songs. The two met at Cracker Barrel in 2020, and Wells is one of their favorite artists. Without knowing about Wells’ involvement with Cracker Barrel, the groom reached out to the brand to share his dream proposal – and Wells made it happen! Check it out HERE. “When I found out that Josh and Rebekah’s biggest dream was for me to help them celebrate their love for each other, I couldn’t say no,” said singer Tauren Wells. “I love that Cracker Barrel is such a special place to them, and it’s a complete coincidence that I was already partnering with the brand for its Care It Forward initiative. I hope hearing about this love story inspires others to care it forward to the ones they love!” Cracker Barrel has partnered with GRAMMY Award-winning CeCe Winans to share stories of how her career benefitted from someone making an effort to #CareItForward on her behalf. She personally chose rising superstar Tauren Wells as her mentee. Directed by Whitney Clinkscales, the #CareItForward series features artists coming together for engaging conversations and outstanding collaborative performances. Check out Wells and Winans’ inspiring conversation HERE. Plus, their moving performances of Wells’ current single "Until Grace," Winans’ "Believe for It", as well as Bill Withers’ "Lean on Me."
