After her “Where I Belong” EP released in 2020, Katie Lighty dove deep into thought and prayer that birthed a beautiful song that continues to share the depth of her relationship with Jesus. With the past year being so tumultuous, Never reminds us that Jesus' love is far reaching and strongest when we feel we are falling apart. Teaming up once again with producer Sajan Nauriyal, the song carries new sonic vibes and gives us a glimpse into the direction that Katie wants to go with her music moving forward. Asked about her heart behind the song Katie shared this: “ As the last year has unfolded in all of its uncertainty and turmoil, with so much of the world in a place of desperation, I found myself needing to create and write about the one absolute I have always known I can cling to: God’s perfect and unshakable love. He sustains me and carries me and I will forever create from a place of wonder at this truth.
