(NASHVILLE) -- Nashville based Indie pop duo, Clemency, return with a brand new single that speaks a message of courage and boldness in the midst of fear. “Brave,” which stands as the follow up to their single “Dare to Dream,” was inspired by, and written for their children. It’s lyrics speak a message of encouragement for them to face their fears, but it is sure to resonate with many others who are in need of a little dose of boldness. “Monsters, Giants, Grizzlies, The Dark; it's dangerous out here!” said the brothers.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. Be Brave! This one is for our kids, Gus, Pate & Elliott; a reminder to be brave in the midst of our fears.” The track follows in the footsteps of its predecessors, taking the listener on a sonic journey of adventure and hope with it’s soaring melodies. The brothers strive to capture the wonder that life has to offer with each release, adding a new chapter to that story with this new track. “The songs we write are reflections of the life, love, hope and beauty we seek” said Paul and Jason.

“Brave” is available everywhere today. Listen HERE.

About Clemency
Brothers Jason and Paul Watkins, natives of Yukon, Oklahoma, have been making music together since high school. The duo, now residing in Nashville, have spent years developing their sound, which has been described as “so incredibly infectious and luminous.” Their music has been featured in commercials (John Deere, Timberland, Sports Authority, Pendleton Whiskey) and television shows like MTV’s teen mom and CWs Emily Owens, MD., and has received warm response for it’s clever use of lo-fi instrumentation.
