COSTA MESA, CA (OCTOBER 04, 2021) Renowned worship leader and songwriter Phil Wickham and Transparent Productions announce his nationwide 2022 "Hymn of Heaven Tour" featuring special guest Josh Baldwin. The 32-city tour will be sponsored by Compassion International. Tickets are on sale today - click here to purchase.

This tour is named after his newest album release, Hymn of Heaven (Fair Trade Services), which features 13 songs, including his multiple-week No. 1 hit "Battle Belongs" and the current Mediabase Christian Audience No. 1 song, "House of the Lord." This song is also No. 2 on Billboard's National Christian Audience and Christian Indicator charts. This is his eighth studio album, and it has already amassed 90.3 million streams and 32.8 million cumulative video views since its release this summer.

“It’s been incredible to watch how these new songs have connected with people and church communities in the months since their release," shares Phil Wickham. "Truly moved by it all. Now I can’t wait to gather in rooms all over the country to sing these songs and prayers together! I hope all of you can make it out to one (or several) of these nights!“

Throughout the process of crafting new music during a global pandemic that created unprecedented obstacles for the local church, Wickham saw an opportunity - the church wasn’t relegated to a building. It was happening in our homes and in our hearts. And in 2022 he will get to bring these songs to life in concert to take on a whole new meaning as believers gather together.

Hymn of Heaven is full of praise and thankfulness, just lifting up the name of Jesus and speaking what we really know the reality is even though we don’t see it,” he says. “All I want to do is facilitate moments where people can encounter the presence of God.”

ABOUT PHIL WICKHAM: Since his self-titled debut in 2006, Phil Wickham has emerged as a leader in the modern worship movement, penning countless songs sung in churches around the world. His RIAA Platinum®-certified single “This Is Amazing Grace” was his first career No. 1, holding the top spot for 13 consecutive weeks and named Billboard’s No. 1 “Christian Airplay Song of the Year” in 2014 and BMI’s “Christian Song of the Year” in 2015. His anthemic “Living Hope,” RIAA Gold®-certified, earned him a GMA Dove Award for “Worship Recorded Song of the Year” in 2019.

His latest project, Hymn of Heaven (June 25, 2021, Fair Trade Services), was written during a year when the family of God couldn’t physically gather in houses of worship around the world. The album’s first single, “Battle Belongs,” topped five different radio charts for multiple weeks and a Spanish version was released in Spring of 2021 titled "La Batalla" featuring Christine D'Clario.

Wickham’s music has received hundreds of millions of streams across his catalog and platforms, with his discography including eight full-length projects, multiple Christmas releases, and a series of popular Singalong records that capture Wickham’s songs doing what they were always meant to do—giving people the language to sing to God.
