FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Rock recording artist Matt Moore has released his latest project The Art of Precious Scars, the culmination of a set of singles that has been burning up radio charts since this summer. In addition to previously released singles “Stronger,” “Broken Pieces” and “Beautiful,” the EP includes the new track “The Promise.” All of them are unified by the same powerful theme of restoration in the midst of brokenness. “It’s the idea that God is able to take the broken, messy pieces of our lives and painstakingly put us back together in a way that makes us stronger and more beautiful than before,” Matt explains as he reflects on the project’s core message. “It’s the truth that there is absolutely no mess that’s too big for Him to redeem. That our brokenness is not the end of our story, but merely the next chapter in a much larger story that God promises to write through our pain and experiences.” It’s a message that has been resonating profoundly with listeners. “Broken Pieces” (featuring Josh Bramlett of The Protest) has spent weeks in the top 10 on CMW’s Christian Rock chart, and 7 weeks to date at #1 on ChristianRock.net. The response blew Matt away. He says, “It’s been such an incredible experience to share my music with a wider audience, and to have so many people request it… that’s pretty special to me!” That impact has been global, from listeners as well as media and music industry professionals. Here’s some of what is being said about Broken Pieces: “Easily some of the best “rock” sounds I’ve heard in a while… They just fly out of the speakers.” — Sam Moses (Moses Mastering) “I was so moved listening to it, by the powerful content and heart, and by how tight it sounds musically. Absolute chills.” — Mary Nikkel (rockonpurpose.live, The Grizzly Awards) “The sound of ‘Broken Pieces’ is stunning and explodes in the chorus, with very raw energy but always balanced, and a great job on backing vocals as well. The vocal performance of Matt is perfect and very versatile.” — giventorock.com (UK) “With elements of alt rock and metalcore, American artist Matt Moore creates an energetic and powerful sound in ‘Broken Pieces.’ The song brings together a unique rock charisma in strong, ripped vocals that interact very well with the powerful instrumental of guitar riffs.’ — rocknbold.com (Brazil) “What a great piece of American power rock! I love the sound, with the bass so present and impressive!” — Rock Zone (Italy) Matt Moore created The Art of Precious Scars in collaboration with producer Josiah Prince. The studio team was rounded out with Jarob Bramlett (of The Protest) on drums. The result is a truly heartfelt record, a refreshing entry of passion and purpose that promises to be part of the ongoing rock renaissance. Beyond its impressive musical excellence, the project’s highest accomplishment is the hope and healing that its songs have already been sparking. “People seem more willing to open up about their own struggles, especially when it comes to their personal mental/emotional/spiritual health, and it’s been really incredible to share part of that journey with them,” Matt says. And it’s just the beginning. “I’m planning to release a few bonus tracks (remixes and alternate versions) after the album is released. I’m also planning to release lyric videos for each song on the album, with Stronger set to release towards the end of the month. And I’ve got some big things in the works for hitting the road in 2022!” The Art of Precious Scars is available now on all platforms at https://solo.to/mattmooremusic, where you can also connect with Matt Moore on all social media channels.
