NASHVILLE, TENN. (FEBRUARY 11, 2022) Today worship leader and songwriter Pat Barrett releases a special multi-track single of his song, "Morning By Morning (I Will Trust)," along with the lyric video. This song will also be available for radio adds on February 18th. Today's release features the upcoming radio version of the song along with the album and various live performances of the meaningful song.

 

"Personally, this song has been one that I have sung in my house weekly since I wrote it," shares Pat Barrett. "I’m the king of getting ahead of myself and looking too far into the future worrying about what is ahead. This song brings me to a place to be fully present today. All throughout scripture we have verses that point towards what God has done as proof that we can trust Him to walk with us for whatever is next. I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know that we have an invitation from God to wake up every single day to use the rising of the sun as a metaphor of His faithfulness to meet us today, tomorrow, and every day after. I hope this is a centering prayer to start your day from a place of trust and worship."

 

The song was originally heard on his 2021 studio project, Act Justly, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly. He followed that release with a special live EP Nothing / Something (Live), which featured songs from the 2021 studio project with guest artists like Mack Brock, Chris Tomlin, and Dante Bowe.
