The quintessential preacher's kid, Jessica grew up in Chapel Hills, North Carolina where faith and music go hand in hand. Singing came naturally to her at age of three, and under the watchful eyes of praying parents and a church that afforded space for the nurturing of her gift, she also gleaned from the sounds of Gospel she heard regularly played in her home and in the nestling community. Inspired and musically motivated by the likes of Pastor John P. Kee, Kierra Sheard-Kelly, Twinkie Clark and Daryl Coley, Jessica has developed her unique and inimitable sound along with a faith filled focus to match.
