Nashville based Indie pop duo, Clemency, return with a new single inspired by the beauty of God’s creation. “Amazed,” available everywhere today, invites listeners on a journey of wonder. The soaring vocal melodies and western tinged guitar conjure up an adventure under the stars, while its heart-stirring lyrics point listeners’ eyes to the sky in awe of its creator.
“There is nothing that can invoke wonder and awe in the human heart quite like the night sky.” Says Jason. “Laying under the stars always gives me a sense of place and purpose and at the same time makes me feel incredibly small. When I look up at that beautiful, vast expanse, these words are whispered in my ear, ‘The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands,’ and, ‘What is man that you are mindful of him?’”
The song serves as another chapter in the cinematic narrative that Jason and Paul endeavor to tell with their music — a soundtrack for the voyage of the human heart in this life. “The songs we write are reflections of the life, love, hope and beauty we seek” said Paul and Jason.
“Amazed” is available everywhere today. Listen HERE.
