“Gospel great,” dubbed by Tamron Hall, Tasha Cobbs Leonard appeared on the Tamron Hall Show to showcase and discuss her new album HYMNS, out this Friday on Motown Gospel. The platinum-selling, GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter/actress/musician/entrepreneur has accomplished so much in her years in the industry, racking up awards and accolades that many of her predecessors are still striving for. Watch Tasha Cobbs Leonard perform ‘The Church I Grew Up In’ on Tamron Hall: https://youtu.be/AVU01C4Vq0A

Cobbs Leonard and her husband Kenneth also sit down with Tamron Hall for a candid conversation about finding purpose and keeping faith. They talk about expanding their family via adoption, after struggles with infertility, and balancing their work and home life. Watch the interview here: https://youtu.be/6vl6OV-GDVM

HYMNS finds Cobbs Leonard going bigger and bolder than ever before, reimagining classic hymns of love and grace with a series of sweeping, ambitious arrangements that draw on everything from worship and gospel to country, pop, and R&B. HYMNS was captured in front of a live audience of more than 3,000 at The Greenwood Oasis on the campus of New Life Southeast in Chicago and features a number of guests, including Jennifer Hudson, Kierra Sheard, Mary Mary, The Walls Group, and more.
