ABOUT BRANDON LAKE: Brandon Lake is a GRAMMY Award-winning artist and songwriter from Charleston, South Carolina. He released his debut album, House Of Miracles, in 2020. For Lake, House Of Miracles is more than an album; it’s the prayer of his life; his prayer is that every home in the world would become a house of miracles. The songs were written to be conduits of hope for everyone who listens.
Lake has been nominated for five GRAMMY Awards and recently won his first GRAMMY in 2022 for “Best Contemporary Christian Music Album” for Old Church Basement. He was nominated and awarded the 2021 GMA Dove Award for “Songwriter of the Year,” as well as for “Worship Recorded Song of the Year” for “Graves Into Gardens.” Lake and Tasha Cobbs Leonard co-wrote “This Is A Move,” a song that won a 2019 GMA Dove Award for “Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year” and was nominated for a 2020 Grammy Award. He believes that the people of God should be the freest people on the planet, and he is passionate about releasing joy and excitement while pursuing the presence of God in worship.
ABOUT BENJAMIN WILLIAM HASTINGS: Benjamin William Hastings is an award-winning songwriter, solo artist, worship leader, and member of Hillsong UNITED on Capitol Christian Music Group. Hastings has been part of many of today's largest worship songs, such as writing and leading vocals on “So Will I (100 Billion X).” He also penned Cory Asbury’s No. 1 hit “The Father's House,” Brandon Lake’s most popular song, “Gratitude,” and Hillsong Worship’s "O Praise The Name (Anástasis)," to name a few. Hastings toured in 2022 with Chris Tomlin x UNITED tour along with Jesus Culture's Bryan & Katie Torwalt.
He’s now released his self-titled debut, encompassing 25 songs that explore family, love, the ongoing wrestle of exercising faith, the struggles with fear and doubt, war, finding God, fighting God, and fighting for God in the midst of everything. The project may be a little more honest than what any of us are used to hearing but as Benjamin puts it, “What better way to outwork an existential crisis than through a diary of song?”
