Image Pictures is pleased to announce Last Chance Marie and I Am Spartacus as part of their latest TV show's soundtrack. Their pop punk sound fits in perfect with the dramedy tone of the new series "Manna: The Wafer King."
"I've been a fan of Christian pop punk for most of my life," said Image Pictures writer and soundtrack coordinator Jason Schmock. "It's a big part of my faith. And to use these two great bands like Last Chance Marie and I Am Spartacus, and share their music with the world, is like a dream come true for me!"
The show is a modern day adaptation of the prodigal son story and the first episode is the pilot to get the public talking and obtain more funding. There will be five more episodes coming in 2023, and each will feature different idependent Christian artists.
"I've been getting great feedback and songs from many great people," said Schmock. "And their music is just as good as any that we would pay a fortune to license, or have big record deals."
To stream the show, search "Hometown" on any Roku device and download the streaming channel. "The Wafer King" show will be on the main page.
Artists of any style who want to submit music for the project can e-mail Schmock at jpschmock[at]gmail.com with a link to their music.
