17 February 2023 - Nashville, TN - Red Street Records’ band Consumed By Fire announces their second release of 2023, “It’s a Yes.” The track (listen HERE), available everywhere today, is the fourth from the band’s upcoming EP, First Things First, releasing March 17.
Consumed By Fire brothers Caleb and Jordan Ward penned the inspirational “It’s a Yes” alongside Red Street’s Don Koch and award-winning songwriter Shane Stevens. Produced by Scotty Wilbanks, a long-time friend and producer of the band, this upbeat and dynamic track reminds listeners, "If it’s a yes in Heaven / It’s a yes on earth / I’ll never second guess / I’ll take You at Your word.” The heart behind the song is attested throughout, leaving the audience with a powerful message of encouragement to trust in God’s will.
“We’re so pumped for the release of ‘It’s A Yes,’" shares band member Jordan Ward. "We hope that listeners can feel an assurance in this song that builds their faith and know that God hears you in your prayer time and that He’s actually saying YES if your prayers align with His Word.”
“It’s a Yes” follows the band’s January release of “Goodbye Ole Me” and their current radio single, “First Things First,” which has risen all the way to No. 12 on the Christian radio charts and is currently No. 64 on the Billboard Top 200 Christian/Gospel On-Demand Audio Streaming chart. These tracks will be featured on the upcoming EP, along with “Hope Says” and one additional track available next month.
