Louisiana - “We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.” [2 Corinthians 4:8-10]
When we are down and at our lowest, these are the times when it is easiest to look up and see all that is above us. The Word tells us that those who have done what is good will rise to live, so when death lurks we must choose life. Even if the cost of living is to sacrifice our earthly bodies, it is worth it as the ways of this world are fleeting. His ways endure forever. We no longer have to doubt; joy comes with the rising of the Son.
Reece Lache’ is moving into a whole new lane with Elevators.
The dual single release features the songs Down and Low and Up Now.
Melody has long played a role in the musical repertoire of the Louisiana artist. However, with this latest release, Lache’ is taking her skill to new heights. The Nathan Ciszek production is simple, yet perfectly allows for Lache’s melodic vocal stylings to shine. Down and Low is driven by a beautiful lead guitar and hard-hitting drums. Joining Lache’ is KMO Shamaal who understood the assignment. These two artists deliver verses that complement each other in a way that makes the record whole. Up Now is an elevated example of Lache’s signature sound complete with her consistent message of hope and victory over adversity. While the records stand out individually, they work together to create a unique and memorable experience for listeners. You have to ask yourself, are you staying on the ground floor or are you going up?
Elevators releases to digital streaming platforms on April 21, 2023.
