Philadelphia, PA - Chico Robinson wants to help you grasp and hold fast to the promise held in Proverbs 18:10, which says the name of the LORD is a strong tower, the righteous run in and they are safe, so the critically acclaimed composer, choir leader, pastor and bonafide worshiper set lyric to music, assembling some singers to release a prophetic sound into the atmosphere. The result is "Safe," the new song from Robinson and his cadre of praisers, the Sound of David, and these young people are taking the country by storm.
"It all begins with a promise", says the Philadelphia-based Pastor of Truth Church Worship Center. "Life comes with a few guarantees and many of our plans don't turn out the way we would like them to, but one thing is for sure and that is we can take GOD at his word. In the midst of delay, disappointment, frustration, discouragement, uncertainty and fear of what the future holds, we can rest assured that we are safe and secure in the arms of Jesus. His very name is our security, He is a strong tower, We have access to His name and He never fails and is ever present to answer the righteous when we call. Sound of David (SOD) is the worship team at Truth Church Worship Center, and I am glad people from all over the country can now get a chance to experience the presence of God as we do each and every Sunday morning."
"I played this song for our radio team, and we all came to the same conclusion that this song was written for this time", says Enon Music Group VP Dr. Garland Miche Waller. "It was just confirmation when we sent it to radio, and radio began to jump all over it. We are confident the Lord will use this song to encourage many people and all for the glory of God."
Safe features Marc Britt, Anton Milton and Deborah Carolina. The infectious praise chorus hits digital outlets and streaming platforms on Friday, June 16th as Robinson and the team go forth in their live recording later on in the month of June. There is a full promotional tour being planned for the summer season.
