Sandusky, OH - “Working together with him, we also appeal to you, ‘Don’t receive the grace of God in vain.’ For he says: At an acceptable time I listened to you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. See, now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation!” [2 Corinthians 6:1-2]
How is it that we can spend day after day hoping for the world’s validation? Despite fake smiles and social media “likes” that promise temporary satisfaction, we know that all of it is fleeting. We are told what we need to be only to exist in the shuffle, regardless of the time we work to appease our critics. In the end, we all come to understand that we “go broke” trying to live by the world’s standards but hopefully we realize that Authentic Currency is available in the salvation offered freely by Christ Jesus.
“It’s all about chasing what really matters. Salvation, through Jesus Christ, is the one thing that is truly authentic and everything this world has to offer is counterfeit.” - iNTELLECT
On his newest single, Ohio-based emcee iNTELLECT is joined by Polished Arrow Music labelmates Procyse and Rich Colón to show the world that what really matters is not found on this earth.
Available on digital streaming platforms beginning February 13, 2024, Authentic Currency is the follow-up release to iNTELLECT’s project ‘The Soulution.’
With production curtesy of longtime collaborator, Brokenfinga, Authentic Currency is a new chapter for iNTELLECT’s already well-established musical catalog.
iNTELLECT, Procyse, and Rich Colón take their boom-bap approach to Christian hip-hop and lyrically weave their way through the sample-heavy record. The single’s message is one of conviction and hope. While some may search for their value in places that can only offer disappointment, Authentic Currency points to Christ as the only place where our worth is determined.
Authentic Currency is a great addition to classic hip-hop and motivational playlists.
