Rich Colón goes on the offensive with his new project, released on February 20, 2024 via Polished Arrow Music.

With banging boom-bap production from Chrys Jones (ChristCentric) and soul-checking lyricism, Colón pulls zero punches as he tackles topics that often get viewed as taboo in today’s Christian rap scene. He seeks out the harmful and unhelpful beliefs to uproot them as a means to be used more effectively by God.

The EP features Christian rap veterans Kaboose and DJ Dsern on the single “Set It Off” which sets the bar for the entire listening experience. From there Colón confronts the lies of false teaching that has worked to embed itself in modern Christian culture.

Hunting SZN is an early standout release in 2024. For hip hop fans that not only love elite wordsmithing but ones that desire to be challenged beyond surface-level basics, this project is sure to make its way on to plenty of “Best Of” lists by the year’s end.
