Bronx, NYC - “So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.” [Ephesians 5:15-16]
Then tension in the air can be electric. It is a classic story…Good versus Evil. The underdog against the villain. Who will triumph and who will suffer defeat? Luckily for those who place their hope in Christ, the outcome is already determined. Our adversaries may keep coming, but it is an exercise in futility. Get ready, the main event is on the way.
“Even though they want to stop ya shine, they can’t. Because it’s one of them and it’s 99” - Ayo Shamir
Part 2 of Ayo Shamir’s critically acclaimed single Ten Cuidado hits digital streaming platforms on March 1, 2024.
Part 1 featured lyrical heavyweights Selah the Corner, Da Commissioner, and Prodi Da Prodigal. With Ten Cuidado Pt. 2, the verbal onslaught continues as Ayo Shamir enlists three more 99 members - YP aka Young Paul, C4 Crotona, and Rigz. Each bar lands with the impact of a Tyson-jab as the emcees connect multiple combinations while maneuvering around the gritty sound-bed.
Ayo Shamir’s sample-based production is a pull-no-punches approach to hip hop’s purest form. Echoing kicks and a resounding bass-line work over the body leaving the competition gasping for breath. Better keep those gloves up, it may be a challenger’s only hope.
The message is simple, even though the enemy is looking to take you down - keep getting back up and go on the attack. When we stand in the Light, our strength will undoubtedly be renewed.
Ten Cuidado Pt. 2 is the perfect addition to your favorite rap playlist!
