(Bronx, New York) Psalm 150 admonished everything and everyone to praise the Lord. Super producer Digital Native teams up with award winning singer/songwriter Jason Hendrickson for a celebration beyond imagination.
Released in September, Goodness Praise Break was an instant hit. The single reached #2 on the legendary Traxsource.com Soulful House chart where it continued to chart for over eight weeks straight! Top House and Dance Music DJs listed “Goodness Praise Break” as a song that they include in their setlists. Gospel DJs and programmers alike are gravitating towards the song and welcoming the fusion of gospel and house music.
Digital Native (Supa Dave West) is an accomplished record producer and virtuoso
drummer with a rugged, melodic and neck breaking sound that has offered a fresh
canvas to a number of mainstream and underground artists throughout the years. His
musical journey started at a young age in the church. His Pentecostal Holiness
upbringing exposed him to music and arrangement. His unique approach and gift took
him around the world as a tour drummer and eventually an accomplished music
producer.
Digital Native syncopated drum programming and unique sample chopping style quickly
caught the attention of some of the hottest artists in the game. He even signed a deal
for his group “Hot Sauce” with Q-Tip from A Tribe Called Quest. Even though the album
was never released, Dave was exposed to some of HipHop’s royalty and began working
with artists such as Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common, Planet Asia, Mystic, E40, Phife
Dawg, Slum Village, J. Dilla, Michelle N’Degeocello, Eric Roberson, Jim Jones,
Ghostface, Masta Killa and Rza from the Wu-Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, and De La Soul.
He even placed a song he produced with Mystic in the “Biker Boyz” movie and
soundtrack for Dreamworks.
Jason Hendrickson epitomizes the moniker of a man of many talents, first gaining notoriety as a master percussionist for Bishop Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Crusade Choir. His musicality and adeptness led to additional touring opportunities with Lost Boyz/Mr. Cheeks and Faith Evans to name a few. As a song writer, he has penned music for several of his own projects as well as for Grammy and Stellar Award winning recording artist Marvin Sapp.

Hendrickson was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Sacred Music from ABG Seminary and is an in-demand speaker, life catalyst, and published author. He is a powerful preacher and teacher of the Gospel as well as a taste maker and influencer. His Start Your Day daily inspirational moments started off as a Facebook initiative and has gained momentum to be placed on a number of terrestrial and internet radio stations, and is being compiled for a devotional book.
